Fall 2020 Project Details
(Updated September 20, 2020)
Current Air Quality Index (AQI) conditions are fantastic, so we are once again OPEN FOR BUSINESS after a brief closure!
Our prayers go out to all of our friends, family members, and first responders who are being affected by the devastating wildfires that are happening all across our beautiful state! The health and safety of our volunteers is of utmost importance to us, so we're limiting our normal project activities to days when the AQI is below 100. We will continue monitoring this to ensure safety.
Following the recent smoke-closure, we are HITTING THE GROUND RUNNING so that we can accomplish as many dry-weather projects as possible before Fall weather sets-in. To see Upcoming Projects, CLICK HERE.
COVID-19 PROTECTION PROTOCOLS
The first few months of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 crisis had a very detrimental effect on Catalyst's programs. For the past 13+ years, we have been mobilizing large and small groups of volunteers to carry-out our projects in ways that are not currently safe. Our staff and leaders have developed new ways of doing projects - following COVID protocols garnered from construction industry examples - so that we are able to continue helping people during this trying time. We are also limiting the amount of volunteers for each project, in order to maintain safe physical distancing. To see the complete list of our COVID-19 Protection Protocols, CLICK HERE.
Due to the challenges presented by Coronavirus/COVID-19, our ability to process new applications and perform projects has been reduced. We encourage applicants to be patient with us as we continue our operations as safely as possible.
Stay safe, and God bless you all!
